Do you know the history of Wimbledon Brewery and how we got our phoenix design?When Wimbledon Brewery burnt down in 1889, that was the end of a brewery which had stood on the same site opposite the Dog and Fox pub in the heart of Wimbledon Village for many years. In 2014, our founder, Mark Gordon, set out to resurrect the brewery. The phoenix signifies the rebirth of the brewery - holding a hop in claws and the barley aloft in its beak. Show more
