Wind Conversation II, Kate Butler, 2024, fired ceramic clay, 9 x 7 x 16 cm, $520 Artist Bio Kate Butler is American artist, writer and educator based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia, on Wurundjeri land. Referring to vast spaces and vertical structures, her works in ceramics and drawing explore the mystic interdependence of nature and the human imagination. Kate holds an her MFA and MS in Art History from the Pratt Institute (2019), and a BA in English and Studio Art from the College of Charleston (2014). She has also studied and apprenticed at the Leo Marchutz School of Painting and Drawing, in Aix-en-Provence, France. She teaches classes in art history and sculpture at RMIT and The Art Room. Shipping is not included in the online artwork purchase price. Artworks in the stockroom can be collected from the gallery at 45 Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000 within one business day of purchase.
