These authentic red wine barrels are direct from wineries in California, Oregon and France. Made of 1" thick white oak and galvanized steel hoops, they're robust and are perfect for decoration, tables, planters and furniture making. Each features unique staining from the aging and draining process, adding to their individuality. And, they're a bargain, far less expensive than most other retailers. Low priced and beautiful, these barrels are a dream for wine connoisseurs. Top branding may include cooperage, vineyard and/or year of barreling. General dimensions: 37" high, 28" diam. at widest (22" at ends). Sizes may vary within a few inches. ~ 100 - 130 lbs. each. A-Grade: Structurally sturdy, minor staining, corrosion and/or dehydration. B-Grade: Structurally less stable, major staining, corrosion and/or dehydration. Recently emptied; likely to be watertight. Barrel services offered: Planter cut (cut circumferentially around widest part; see photo 8). Cradle cut (cut from top to bottom; see photo 9). Lid removal (priced per lid). Secure hoops (affixed at 3 points per hoop with screws). Power washing (helps remove surface dirt & stains) Water repellant/stain (Thompson's Water Seal).
