This limited edition, ultra-premium Old Topaque fits within the “rare” classification for fortified wines and is the embodiment of the rich, luscious fortified wines of North Easte rn Victoria. WINEMAKERS NOTES The extreme age is obvious from the colour with its olive rim; the bouquet is voluminous and intensely complex, the palate incredibly luscious and complex, with multi-spice, mandarin zest, tea leaf, and Callard and Bowser butterscotch flavours; the palate is like velvet, the rancio and spirit there but not excessive.
