Wingtree x Toro Studios Wingtree have been making some under-the-radar excellent tactiles since they started in switch manufacturing just a year ago. This new collaboration with Keebaholics and Toro Studio is all about making a light tactile that feels exactly the way they want it to feel. We have here, a gentle tactile response without losing the full-travel feel of a traditional MX switch. Its 42g operating force and relatively light 50g bottom-out make it easy to type on for long periods, while the tactile event adds more definition than a linear switch without becoming sharp or fatiguing. Think a slightly heavier version of the Cherry MX Petal with full travel. Unlike many modern tactile switches built around shortened travel or aggressive long-pole stems, the Torrero retains a full 4mm total travel. That gives it a more familiar, less abrupt keypress, with a lighter tactile character and a cleaner transition into bottom-out. The combination should suit typists who find heavier or highly pronounced tactiles tiring but still want more feedback than a linear switch provides.
