Twelve high resolution wintry wallpapers from walks in Kyoto, Tottori, Toyama, and Gifu. My home area in Kansai gets very little snow in the winter, but I love the way the landscape is transformed with a blanket of white powder so I try and get into the mountains as much as possible during the winter. This winter I took off for a week on the road, starting in Kyoto before heading up the Sea of Japan coast to Kanazawa, and finally into the mountains of Toyama and Gifu. I just missed the tail end of a big storm so the roads were in pretty rough shape, with highway closures and deep snow. It was amazing though, and I was happy to be able to get to some pretty nice locations to film a few walks. I didn't take as many photos as I had planned due to the heavy snow and cold temperatures, but I did manage a few that might look nice on your desktop or TV. Thank you for your support, I hope you enjoy the wallpapers and the season treats you well. Spring is on its way!
