Winter Adventures was created during Stio’s First Friday event in November 2022, where the community shared stories of snowy days, whiteouts, first ski seasons, and Christmas tree hunts. Inspired by these contributions, I painted in April and May after a 50-day ski season, layering whites, blues, greens, and yellows to reflect powder, corduroy trails, and bluebird skies. Using thick textures, I preserved details like hearts and words to keep the spirit of each adventure alive. This creation embodies the joy of winter in Bend and the shared stories that make it special. Let “Winter Adventures” bring that winter magic to your home. Show more
