It comes unfinished, layered and unassembled for easy painting and then you glue together! Select either 1/8" MDF or 1/4" Wood. No paint, glue, or any other supplies are included with this purchase but here is a list of suggested supplies: Glue - Wood Glue, Loc-Tite, Crazy Glue, E6000, Gorilla GlueCraft Paint - Acrylic or Household Make-Up sponges- to dab paint onto the small piecesSmall paint brushesPaint markers for fine detail - Posca, Sharpie, Acrylic Paint Pens The pieces are made of premium raw 1/8" MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) which is an engineered wood product or 1/4" wood. They are meant for Indoor use only. They are laser cut so you may expect a burnt wood smell, char marks or dark edges. You can paint over them or wipe them away with a magic eraser sponge. The smell goes away with time. This is not a defect and will not be replaced or refunded.
