Winter in Jockfall In early January above the Polar circle, the lights are still really faint and the sky turns into those pastel blue and pink tones so typical of the far north. T hat day, at -25ºC, the water droplets rising into the air froze instantly and created a kind of mist just above the river, upstream of the waterfall. The available print sizes fit standard frame dimensions, but this means a slight crop of the original image.
