Winter running shorts inspired from our experience at Cryo Race in 2020 on the Lac St-Jean, we’ve developed these Winter training shorts made of 3 layers: soft shell, bamboo and merino. Tighten the waistband with a small cord. Go outside and run whatever the weather. Doesn’t have pockets by default. Pockets can be added. Contact us to have a customized and adjusted for you fit. Why did we make winter shorts ? We believe running in shorts during the winter provides health benefits. From our experience, it appears to help with heath management, acting like air conditioning. Any excess heat, if any, goes out thru the legs rather than building up under the clothes. At the very least, it creates a flow of air. Tests we've made Update Jan 2nd 2025 : success 6k run at windy temperature feeling like -12c wearing the shorts. update Jan 31th 2025 : we’ve ran over 100km this month with temperatures varying from -5 to -18c. It’s hot between -5 and -10 ish. Calf feels great. below 10c, feels great and not sweety , don't really have to wash them. calf are getting stiff specially below 15c. Butt is cold but it’s okay.
