INSPIRATION: My in-laws live on a patch of rural farmland and woods, and it's really quiet out there compared to where we live in town. Snowfall makes the usually quiet spot extra quiet, like you can feel the silence and calm enter into you. The tractor tracks speak to the rural area. Part of my “Color Notes” series, this painting includes thick color swatches of paint along the bottom edge of the painting. Inspired by the art of nature journaling and of notes in music, these Color Notes paintings celebrate the signature colors used in the creation of each piece. DETAILS: This is a framed original painting. 5x7" acrylic painting on 8x10" panel, total size 9.5x11.5” including the frame. Signed on the front and finished with a gloss varnish.
