The ideal winter throw, worked in knit 1, purl 1 rib in a relaxed gauge and on big needles. The stitch definition is dreamy and the simple pattern is perfect for the novice knitter . Pick it up and put it down all winter, just a few rows every day! The throw is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together – one mohair and one worsted weight wool. Two mohair strands would also be lovely – very lofty and elegant. Have fun planning out the high or low contrast of the yarns you use; we chose subtle contrast with solid mohair and a semi-solid wool for our second yarn.
