WINTERING Wintering is the candle of evening. It belongs to the hours when the day begins to close in on itself. When lamps are lit early, curtains are drawn, and the room settles into something softer, warmer, more contained. The relief of a day that is finally ending. Lavender and thyme open with calm and a quiet herbaceous familiarity. Ylang ylang adds a gentle warmth beneath, steady rather than heavy. The kind of warmth that says you're home now, you can stop. It doesn't fill a space all at once. It settles into it. On the reverse: "I honour my need for rest." This is a candle for unwinding without urgency. For moving gently. For letting the edges of the day soften. Scent notes: Lavender · Thyme · Ylang ylang Burn time: Approximately 50 hours with proper care. Made with: Natural soy wax and pure essential oils · Raw nude ceramic vessel handmade in Stoke-on-Trent, made to be kept · Hand-poured in small batches in Surrey Candle care: Before each burn, check the wick is upright and free of charred fragments, snapping or trimming any away so it's no longer than 5mm. On the first burn, let the wax melt fully to the edges, usually 2 to 3 hours, to prevent tunnelling. Keep it out of draughts, never leave it burning unattended, and burn on a heat-safe surface.
