However the tiller bolts leaves something to be desired. Because of the new design of the tiller bolt, more threads, shorter and thicker shank and the redesigned cap the amount of teller weight adjustment has been reduced significantly. Also I have two sets of limbs from another manufacture and both sets fit on my NanoMax riser. However, only one set of the limbs will fit on the ATF riser because of the new bolt design. These problems can be alleviated by replacing the stock bolts with a pair of Type A Win and Win bolts, the Type B and C bolts won’t fit. By switching the bolts out I increased the tiller adjustment substantially, back to the amount of the original bolt design of the Type A bolts and both sets of the other manufactures limbs now fit on the ATF riser. So if you have limbs that fall outside of the new bolt adjustment range, or you have limbs that are from another manufacturer that won’t quite fit, you may be able to rectify the problems by securing a set of the type A bolts which will increase the overall cost of the riser by about 8%. If you ask the Lancaster guys to check to see if your limbs will fit and adjust in the range provided I’m sure they’ll do that. They’re very accommodating and it behooves them to have your equipment function correctly. I mated it to a set of 40lb WiaWis limbs, turned the weight up to 40.94lbs as that’s what my 800 Vap v1 arrows tune at. Checked the alignment set the tiller to 1/8, string nock at 7/32 and brace height to 22.6 on my 16 strand d97 string. Easiest riser to setup. Very well balanced with the weight distributed more across the riser and more to the ends. Added small dampeners and small cap weights to each end. Feels lighter than my Nano Max but it’s listed as heaver. Doesn’t rock forward like the Nanomax, does rock forward but less. The grip is skinny but a little higher compared to the NanoMax so you may need to build it up to fit your grip. I’ve only taken it out about 6 times and started playing with the tune. That being said the last end at 18m, 40cm target was 8 out of 8 in the gold with 4 10s and 4 9s. That ain’t to bad.( I wrote down all the setting) I think with a little fine tuning someone can get this to perform like that pretty consistently. W&W's limb pocket design holds the limb in place and makes it impossible for the limb to pop out during stringing. This alone makes it superior to any other limb pocket design on the market. The superior stiffness of this riser makes it forgiving and repeatable. W&w are known for the paint jobs on their risers, and there's no exception here. The machining is flawless. It has has a a very good balance between informative feedback and a relaxed deadening. It's a very unique feel sitting somewhere between aliminum and carbon. I can't say enough good about it. Paired with the W&W Wiawis NS limbs, best shooting bow on the market.
