Wire Wrapping 201 is for students who already know the basics (or have taken 101) and want to create pieces that look more detailed, cleaner, and more “designer.” In this two and a half hour workshop, you’ll build on your foundation and learn the techniques that add style, texture, and polish to your wraps—so your pendants look more intentional and professional. ✨ What You’ll Learn (201 Skills) 🧶 Weaving Techniques (Main Focus) Different placements of weaving (where weaving looks best and adds strength/style) Different weaving patterns (so your wraps have texture and detail) Secure places to tie off weaving (so it stays tight and doesn’t unravel) 🪢 Step-by-Step Instruction (Intermediate Friendly) I start the class with a live demonstration of each technique and show every hand motion multiple times, so you don’t miss a thing. Then we move forward step-by-step as a group: Build a clean foundation and prep the frame Learn weaving placements and start your weave sections Practice multiple weaving patterns and textures Tie off weaving securely in the correct spots (clean and hidden when possible) Add accents and finishing touches Tighten, shape, and polish the final piece I teach each skill individually, make sure everyone is caught up, and only move forward when the entire class is ready.
