Built primarily for the LandCruiser 70 Series (2007+), this plug-and-play module is the clean solution for adding steering wheel controls without touching the clock spring. Every 70 Series pre-facelift came without factory steering controls, so the factory clock spring has no provision for them. Rather than swap it for a unit with more contacts, this module bridges your new wheel's buttons across wirelessly and leaves the clock spring exactly where it is. The clock spring is an essential part of the SRS airbag system, which is precisely why we designed around it. It runs off the horn power circuit only, which keeps the install reversible and as close to factory as possible. No custom loom, no dash surgery. Compatible Toyota Models This module is for LandCruisers that left the factory with no steering wheel controls at all, where the clock spring carries a horn wire only. PVS elected to design around it rather than replace it, because it is an essential part of the SRS airbag system, so fitting this module makes no changes to the SRS. ✅ Adds steering wheel control functionality without replacing the clock spring and without a custom wiring loom. ⚠️ This module reads a 12-pin steering wheel control connector. Every genuine PVS 300 Series wheel is 12-pin, and so is a factory 200 Series facelift wheel. Check the plug on the back of your wheel before you order. ⚠️ Many 200 and 300 Series style wheels sold through Marketplace and overseas sellers arrive with a 10-pin plug, because they are built for a pre-facelift 200 Series clock spring. Those wheels will not connect to this kit. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the back of your wheel and we will confirm it before you buy. ⚠️ Cutting, splicing or re-pinning the harness is a modification. Once that is done the warranty and the wiring support no longer apply, and we do not supply pin-outs or conversion diagrams for wheels we did not sell.
