Pre-facelift 70 Series came out of the factory with no steering wheel controls. The clock spring only carries a horn wire, so there was nothing to wire into. This module adds the buttons. Built for the LandCruiser 70 Series (2007+), it runs on the horn circuit and never touches your clock spring, which matters because that clock spring is part of the SRS airbag system. PVS designed around it rather than replacing it, because it's an essential part of the SRS airbag system, so fitting this module makes no changes to the SRS. Adds steering wheel control functionality without replacing the clock spring and without a custom wiring loom. This module reads a 12-pin steering wheel control connector. Every genuine PVS 300 Series wheel is 12-pin, and so is a factory 200 Series facelift wheel. Check the plug on the back of your wheel before you order. Many 200 and 300 Series style wheels sold through Marketplace and overseas sellers arrive with a 10-pin plug, because they're built for a pre-facelift 200 Series clock spring. Those wheels won't connect to this kit. If you're unsure, send a photo of the back of your wheel and we'll confirm it before you buy. Cutting, splicing or re-pinning the harness is a modification. Once that's done the warranty and the wiring support no longer apply, and we don't supply pin-outs or conversion diagrams for wheels we didn't sell. An unmodified kit can be returned within 30 days. Steering wheel, steering wheel controls and headunit aren't included with this product.
