This spoon has been lovingly handmade from recycled copper. It's handle is adorned with hand-stamped symbols representing the ancient relationship between the Earth below and the s ky above ~ and everything in between. ~ This piece is one of a kind and you will receive the exact spoon pictured. A note on copper: Copper is naturally anti-bacterial but is not 100% food safe as it can react with some acidic foods and begin to dissolve, so please only use this special spoon for dry ingredients such as tea, herbs, sugar, salt, or ritual/ceremonial purposes. Copper is a metal that naturally tarnishes & care should be taken to avoid contact with liquids- handle with dry hands and wipe down after use before storing in it's pouch. Over time your spoon may take on a darker antique-y patina, completely unique to you and it's use. Some people enjoy this whilst some prefer to keep their copper shiny ~ A polishing cloth with some copper polish will remove any surface patina with ease.
