This estate has been in the Rheinhessen since the1663. They own a little over 25 hectares of vineyards in and around the town of Westhofen. The have farmed organically for over 30 years and the current family steward Phillip converted to biodynamics in the field in the early to mid 1990s. In the cellar it is fermented with native yeasts and matured in large, neutral oak casks. The nose opens with a bright and precise aroma set of slate minerality, light lime zest and flesh with just there stone fruit pit.
