A wolf's forefoot prints larger than its hind foot, and this design borrows that broad shape: four toe pads, one heavy heel pad, and inside the lower half a wolf's head in profile with its jaws open, cut through the black so the animal and its own track share a single silhouette. Everything sits in one flat colour, clean black against the wall. What a single print tells you Claw marks are the first clue. Wolves cannot retract their claws, so the tips register above each toe pad as small points. The heel pad is large in proportion to the toes, and on a clean track you can draw a straight line between the outer toes and the front of that pad without crossing either. Those two details separate a wolf from most large dogs. The line the trail makes Wolves direct register, meaning the hind foot lands in the print the front foot has just lifted from. A travelling wolf leaves one tidy row rather than two, running straight and purposeful across open ground.
