Adjustable Q Factor Adjusting the Q factor (pedal stance width) moves the pedal toward or away from the center of the bike. The ALT XC Clipless Pedals have Q factor options of 51, 55, and 59mm to fine-tune your fit. Most XC clipless pedals have a stock Q factor around 55mm. Adjusting Q factor is simple enough to do at home. Ground Clearance and Mud Shedding We designed ALT XC Clipless Pedals with a thin profile and open center.
