Tulle, floral netting, crystal beads sclupture.16x29x11"The female body is a place of continual metamorphosis. Throughout a woman’s life, her body undergoes many evolutions of cons truction and reconstruction. These “womb” sculptures explore what can be argued as the most extraordinary bodily transformation: pregnancy and birth. Taken individually, these wombs are snapshots into the creation of life. As a whole, they show the other-worldly beauty and power it takes to create a society. This sculpture is the artist's 9th rendition. Show more
