Each unit is two parts - a UV-stabilised HDPE top panel on a 100% recycled PVC base - and links barrier-to-barrier with a simple hook-and-eye connection to create continuous runs, with angles up to 90°. It is fully Chapter 8 compliant, so it can be used in the appropriate locations on public roads. One person can move a barrier, and the forklift slots in the base with stackable parts make transport and storage straightforward. The system connects to Melba Swintex pedestrian barriers and to the Oxford Plastics Strong-Wall barrier system. Stacking and transporting The PVC base has forklift entry points for easy handling, saving time on set-up. Because each barrier breaks down into two parts - the PVC base and the HDPE top panel - both parts stack securely on top of one another, so more units fit on a vehicle between uses. Adding height If you need more than the standard 1000mm, plastic barrier top extensions connect with the same hook-and-eye fixings for added stability. The DoubleTop extension takes the total height to 2000mm, and the Mini-DoubleTop extension takes it to 1535mm.
