This pedestal-style console table features walnut slab legs and a central column which is made of book-matched ambrosia maple. (Some central columns are one piece due to the story told in the wood - the one pictured is not book matched.) The feet and upper support rails are made of curly maple. The leg joints are tight-fitting rabbeted joints. The top is made of live-edge black walnut, but can be ordered in a straight edge. Because the wood varies, some tops will have bow tie keys to stabilize small cracks and add to the uniqueness of the piece. Each top end is subtly curved and beveled. They are finished with a catalyzed conversion varnish which is water and alcohol proof. Cleanup is simple—just use a damp cloth with a dash of soap. Materials: Maple, Walnut
