Kristin maintains a studio in Dingmans Ferry, PA that has an Anagama Hybrid kiln built by Japanese Master Potter, Takao Okazaki. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Studio Arts from Southern Connecticut State University a Graduate Certificate in Ceramics from Hood College and has worked as an instructor and arts administrator for almost twenty years. Kristin is the author “The Potter’s Studio Handbook: A Guide to Hand Built and Wheel-Thrown Ceramics” published November 2007 by Quarry Books and exhibits her work both nationally and internationally.
