The Durston 24 Punch Wooden Dapping Set includes 24 wooden punches and a dapping block with matching depressions, all housed in a convenient storage tray. This set is ideal for working with softer metals or when you want to avoid marking or marring your work. The punches range in size from 7.3mm to 26.8mm, providing versatility for doming and shaping tasks. It is important to note that wooden forming tools can get marked, dented, or cracked if not used correctly. To prolong the life of the punches, it is recommended to use a plastic or rawhide hammer rather than metal hammers, ensuring the tools maintain their quality and avoid damage. This wooden dapping set is a practical choice for delicate and non-marring metal shaping in jewellery making.
