Made with a standard 20-gallon, food-safe steel drum, it features a commercial-grade pizza stone that heats in minutes over a small wood fire. Natural convection cooks pizzas quickly and evenly while imparting just the right amount of melt, crisp, char, and chew. Intended for the budget-conscious outdoor cook, the Rustic version features a bare metal finish of the drum and comes complete with an easy-to-assemble stand, natural red cedar legs, and a closing lid. All the parts fit inside the drum for easy transportation. PLEASE NOTE: The drum's bare metal may develop some surface rust, which will not affect the integrity of the oven. For esthetic reasons, the affected areas can be cleaned with a wire brush and, if desired, coated with heat-rated spray paint, available in most hardware stores or online.
