Washing Instructions: Wool diaper covers are best hand washed in lukewarm water using a wool-safe detergent. For convenience, they can also be machine washed on cold on a gentle/wool cycle with no spin—just be sure to skip the heat and agitation. How to Lanolize: Lanolizing is easy and makes your cover water-resistant: Boil a small amount of water and melt a pea-sized amount (per cover) of lanolin in it. Add this mixture to a sink or basin filled with lukewarm water. Submerge the wool cover and gently swish and squish the fabric to distribute the lanolin. Let soak until the water cools completely. Rub any hardened lanolin from the sink walls onto the wet zone for extra waterproofing.
