Wool Pellets are crafted on a family-run farm in Shetland using 100% natural native British sheep wool. Wool Pellets offer multiple benefits for your garden. They retain moisture by holding up to ten times their weight in water, releasing it gradually to reduce watering needs while creating air pockets that support root growth. As a slow-release fertiliser, they provide essential Nitrogen and Potassium for healthy plants. Additionally, when placed around plant bases, the felted pellets form a natural mat that repels slugs and snails, thanks to their tiny abrasive fibres which discourage these pests gently and effectively. HOW TO USE: Water retention and fertiliser For potted plants - mix 100g of pellets with 4 litres of soil For flower beds - mix 1kg over 2.5m2 Slug repellent Arrange pellets in a 10cm ring around the base of the plants you want to protect Water lightly and the pellets will form a barrier which should last several weeks Wool Pellets come packaged in 100% compostable bags, making them an eco-friendly choice for your garden. Once you've used the pellets, simply add the packaging to your compost bin, helping to reduce waste and nourish your soil naturally.
