These Wool Sponges are designed to be used, abused, and at the end of their life, composted! Our Wool is completely biodegradable and sustainable so there's no waste. How to Care for Your Wool Sponge: Rinse and Squeeze: After each use, rinse your Wool Sponge thoroughly and squeeze out excess water. I like to reshape it back to a rectangle for longevity. Air Dry: Allow it to air dry between uses to maintain its freshness and longevity. Occasional Wash: Every now and then, give it a gentle hand wash with mild soap to keep it in top condition. How I use them: I pretty much have two sponges in use at a time. Eventually the first sponge gets denser and tougher, which is great for more abrasive uses. The second one then becomes the softer, more malleable one for my glassware and such. That cycle simply continues!
