Puglia is the sheep's original habitat and therefore the sheep stay healthy much more easily. This form of sheep farming and their grazing is the most sustainable production of wool. It is environmentally friendly and provides the best living conditions for the sheep and the sheep farmers.The sheep farmers sort the wool themselves and sell the wool directly to the Gepard spinning mill. In this way, the farmer gets a better price for the wool and Gepard knows the product down to the individual small flocks of sheep. Woolia is soft enough and completely pilling-free and goes a long way.This means that the sweaters will be wonderfully light, even with cables or Fair Isle knits.The first time you feel the wool, you will probably experience it as a little dry, that is a characteristic of this merino.
