They are nice and loose without being ridiculous, with a 3cm pleat on the front. This sateen (like traditional fatigues, the fabric is reversed so the smooth side faces inward for comfort while the rougher side faces out for durability) is very nice when it's new; quite stiff and almost dressy. Over time, the sateen relaxes over time to the point where it's amazingly soft and comfortable - this is peak form, sort of like when you buy vintage military gear, but without the heavy vibes from battles past.
