The earplugs are black, to prevent premature discolouration. Alpine Carry Cord Every pair of WorkSafe earplugs comes with an Alpine carry cord for earplugs so that you can carry the earplugs around your neck if you need to remove them briefly. You simply attach the handy cable to the stem of the earplugs. The use of the carrying cord does not influence the effect of the filters, noise attenuation remains unaffected. Lifespan and cleaning The lifespan of the earplugs depends on the frequency of use. Keeping the earplugs clean will extend their lifespan. The earplugs can be cleaned with lukewarm water and soap.
