We have tried the EF86 side in this position, however the EF86 has way more attack which doesn't pair well with most amps in the Helix® family. Placater Clean R - Based on the Friedman® BE-100. This amp has flown under the radar for a lot of people. Most people would put an AC-30 in this position; however, we have found that the BE-100 pairs extremely well with almost anything. The result of this combo is a punchy, familiar, and reliable preset that can be used in almost every scenario.
