Looking for an inspiring activity in Lisbon? Join a hand-building ceramic workshop designed for anyone who wants to disconnect from routine and enjoy a creative experience at their own pace. Guided by Úrsula, a portuguese architect turned ceramist with over 10 years of experience, you will learn traditional techniques while creating functional pieces you can truly call your own. This ceramic workshop in Lisbon welcomes small groups of up to 7 participants, ensuring a personal and relaxed environment. No previous experience is needed. During the 2-hour session you will focus on one hand-building technique such as slabs, molds, coiling or pinching. Depending on the complexity, you can create one or two pieces like mugs, bowls, small plates, serving boards, candleholders or vases. Everything is included – clay, tools, aprons and all firings. Your work will go through the kiln twice to ensure durability. Finished ceramics will be ready for collection after around 3 to 4 weeks and can be stored for up to 3 months if you are not in Lisbon right away. The workshop takes place in a welcoming studio filled with natural light in the heart of Lisbon.
