3 Hours | The Design Studio at Boho FabricsAges 16+ Learn innovative cutting and construction techniques that minimize fabric waste! In this workshop we will create a basic pull-on style pair of pants with an elastic waistband and patch pockets. The pattern is free and can be downloaded and previewed in advance here: https://janetceleste.com/b/mcaS2Printed patterns will be provided in the workshop. Confident beginners are welcome, however this workshop is intended for sewists who are already comfortable using a machine. What to Bring: Bring a sewing machine or let us know if you would like to rent one of our Elna machines for $5/hour Students are expected to bring their own supplies including pre-washed fabric. (Medium weight woven fabric suggested). Fabric Requirements: 2.5 yards of 54" wide fabric will be enough for most sizes up to 54" hip circumference. Sizes larger than this will need 2.75 yds. Please refer to the pattern linked above for specific fabric requirement details as well as a complete list of supplies and notions required.
