MuralShield Matte is a conservation coating formulated to protect and preserve acrylic murals. The matte finish provides UV protection, weather resistance, and paint consolidation for new and weathered artwork while maintaining a low-sheen appearance. It serves as an isolation layer and can be top-coated with World's Best Graffiti Coating when sacrificial graffiti protection is required. The aerosol format is intended for smaller projects, touch-ups, and areas where spray equipment is not practical. Allow newly painted murals to fully cure before application. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Apply a light fog coat followed by two to three full coats. Allow 20–30 minutes of drying time between coats. Overlap spray passes for even coverage. After MuralShield Matte has fully cured, apply World's Best Graffiti Coating if sacrificial graffiti protection is required.
