WormBurner Defender™ is a low-profile, triangle-shaped guard that sits at the base of your golf simulator screen, absorbing the dreaded hosel rockets and worm burners before they can chew up your frame or hardware. Built for real-world mis-hits, it lets you swing freely without worrying about low bullets destroying your setup. Key Benefits at a Glance Frame & Hardware ProtectionWormBurner Defender™ shields the most vulnerable part of your simulator enclosure by sitting directly in front of the bottom of your impact screen and frame. Instead of low skimmers smashing into metal, brackets, or screen edges, the guard takes the impact first and helps reduce long-term wear. Built for Hosel Rockets & Worm BurnersEngineered for the ugliest shots in golf, WormBurner Defender™ is made to handle thin irons, bladed wedges, low skimmers, and full-on hosel rockets. When those shots stay on the ground, the angled guard catches and absorbs them before they reach your frame or hardware. Low-Profile Triangle DesignThe low, triangular profile hugs the floor at the base of your screen to maintain a clean, professional look in your sim space. It’s designed not to block your hitting zone, interfere with ball launch, or get in the way of your launch monitor’s view of the ball. Confidence to Swing FreelyWith a dedicated guard protecting the bottom of your enclosure, you can focus on tempo, path, and contact instead of worrying about a single bad swing damaging your setup. WormBurner Defender™ acts like impact insurance for your frame, giving you the freedom to practice hard and invite guests to hit without stress. Perfect for Real-World Sim SpacesIdeal for home golf simulators, garage builds, and basement setups, WormBurner Defender™ is made for the environments where screens and frames represent a real investment. It’s equally at home in coaching studios and teaching bays that see a wide range of players and skill levels. How WormBurner Defender™ Works The guard installs on the floor directly in front of the bottom of your impact screen or frame, creating a protective triangle between the turf and the screen. When a shot is struck low and rides along the ground, the ball meets the angled face of WormBurner Defender™ instead of the exposed frame, brackets, or hardware. By absorbing and redirecting that impact energy into a dedicated guard, you help reduce dents, chips, and stress on your lower enclosure components, extending the life of your simulator and keeping it looking clean. Ideal Use Cases Home & Garage SimulatorsProtects the bottom of the screen and frame in dedicated sim rooms, garages, and basements where balls are constantly in play. Coaching Studios & Teaching BaysAdds protection in environments where multiple players rotate through the bay and not every shot finds the center of the face. Families, Juniors & GuestsProvides an extra layer of safety and durability when beginners, juniors, or friends are learning and prone to mishits.
