Talking about worry with your youngest students can be challenging! Use these no prep read aloud activities with the book Worrysaurus to help your students better understand their worry and anxiety and how to cope with it. Kids will love the fun dinosaur theme as they identify their worries and explore positive coping skills. This resource is based on the book "Worrysaurus" by Rachel Bright, however you do not need the book to complete the activities. "What Gives Me Butterflies" Cut And Paste - Students will consider which things they worry about. They will look at various worries and if the student has those worries, they will glue the worry onto the dinosaur. If the student doesn’t have those worries, they can glue them onto the background. 3 Coloring Pages - Students can color these pages as they learn about strategies they can use to cope with their worries. Jar Of Happy Things Worksheet - Students will think about things that make them happy. They will then decorate their “jar of happy things” that they can think about when they feel worried.
