This Refrigerator Air Damper Control Assembly controls the cold airflow from the freezer compartment into the refrigerator compartment. This replacement part is designed to be used with select Whirlpool®, Maytag®, Kenmore®, Amana®, JennAir® and KitchenAid® refrigerator brands; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience.
