The Boys From Chariss WRECKS027 The ‘DAT 91-99’ EP pieces together long forgotten tracks from the Bristolian production trio 'The Boys From Chariss’ who started back in 1989 under the moniker New Age. Their first and only release as the Chariss Boys, ‘The Universe EP’ was pressed on extra thick recycled dub vinyl due to the heavy bass, with only a simple sticker for identification. The release sold out straight away and attained a cult status until the distributor went bust killing it and their next release. WRECKS027 is a collection of the previously released but obscure and sought after b-side fodder and those unsigned gems. All produced within the years of 1991 and 1999, the ‘DAT 91-99’ EP serves to shine some light on music that still sounds fantastic twenty years later.
