Born in Japan, Nobuhito Nishigawara’s family name translates to West River Field which is the namesake for his line of handmade stoneware, WRF Lab. Fusing Japanese artisan traditio ns with his work as a contemporary artist, each piece is handcrafted in his Southern California studio. Subtle variations in color, form and finish are intrinsic qualities reflecting the handmade nature of these special pieces.
