Each object is shaped through an intuitive material process and carries its own form, surface and tension. No two rings are the same. The rings are compact, sculptural and materially present. Rough, matte, metallic or irregular surfaces are not imperfections, but traces of time, touch and transformation. Some pieces contain fragments of blue-and-white porcelain, ceramic remains or other embedded material references. These refer to histories of trade, domestic culture, collecting, extraction and displacement. They are not used as decoration, but as carriers of memory.
