Wyeast 1187 Ringwood Ale is a European ale yeast with unique fermentation and flavor characteristics. Distinct fruit ester and high flocculation provide a malty complex profile, wh ich clears well. Thorough diacetyl rest is recommended after fermentation is complete. Apparent attenuation: 68-72%. Flocculation: high. Optimum temp: 64°-74° F NOTE: During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.
