Wyoming has a lot of dramatic landscapes to offer to the outdoor enthusiast. The Snowy Range is fantastic area to hike, camp, or have a great picnic. Medicine Bow Peak is a great m ountain to climb and offers dramatic views of the surrounding landscape. Back in October of 1955, United Air Lines Flight 409, was flying from Denver to Salt Lake City, when it crashed into the mountain. You can still see some wreckage and a burn scar on the mountain when you hike the scenic loop. Show more
