They begin by collecting all this valuable and perfectly good fibre which is gathered after each clean down of their spinning frames. Then, they send it to their local production partner to card, comb and convert back into tops before it arrives back at the mill for spinning. This spun yarn then heads out again to be dyed locally, and once dyed, it’s back to WYS for finishing, balling and packing. Sustainability is at the heart of everything they do, and all of this takes place within a 10-mile radius – something which they're extremely proud of.
