The X-Jet M5 Nozzle turns your pressure washer into a soft wash setup, drawing chemical from a bucket at the nozzle tip instead of through the pump. Pick the orifice for your GPM, twist for a 5° to 60° pattern, and shoot mix up to 40 ft. Genuine X-Jet, not a knockoff. Key Features Draws at the nozzle, not the pump: SH never touches your pump seals, unloader, or high-pressure hose. The venturi sits at the tip, so it pulls strong ratios even on long hose runs. Twist-adjustable 5° to 60°: Go from a tight stream that reaches 40 ft to an 8 ft fan with a twist. No swapping tips. Matched to your GPM: Choose the orifice ("K" size) for your machine, from 3 GPM up to 8+ GPM, for proper draw and full reach. 14-color proportioner set included: Set your dilution by color off the chart. The same tip set ships with every kit. Instant soap-to-rinse: Close the inline ball valve to rinse clean water, open it to go back on chem. Specifications Spray pattern Adjustable 5° to 60° by twist Effective reach Up to 40 ft near-closed; about 8 ft at the 60° fan (scales with GPM) Flow range 3 to 8+ GPM, by orifice (SWT stocks 09K through 25K) Max pressure 3,000 PSI (09K) / 4,000 PSI (13K, 16K, 20K, 25K) Max temperature 190°F Inlet 1/4" MPT x 1/4" quick-connect plug Chemical port 1/8" MPT x 3/8" brass hose barb Attaches to 1/4" female quick connect on your gun or lance (coupler not included) Suction hose 15 ft, 3/8", with inline ball valve and strainer What's Included X-Jet M5 nozzle with the orifice matched to your GPM 14-color proportioner tip set 15 ft, 3/8" suction hose with inline ball valve and ball strainer A 1/4" female quick-connect coupler isn't included, so add one if your gun or lance doesn't already have the socket. Pick the variant for your GPM at checkout; see the orifice guide in the FAQ below. An orifice too large for your flow kills chemical draw, worst on low-GPM machines. It runs on cold or hot water up to 190°F, inside the per-orifice PSI limits above. The X-Jet has brass in the wetted path, and SH corrodes brass, so rinse the nozzle and hose with fresh water after every use. The 90-day warranty doesn't cover corrosion from skipping the rinse. How It Works Drop the suction hose into your bucket of mix, pick a proportioner color for your target ratio, and pull the trigger. Water passing through the orifice creates suction that pulls chemical up the hose and blends it at the tip. Twist the head to tighten the stream for reach or open it to a fan for close work. The proportioner color sets the dilution. Match it to your machine's GPM on the chart below. For straight 12.5% house wash, X-Jet recommends running OPEN with no tip and mixing your ratio in the bucket. At about 3:1, straight 12.5% SH puts roughly 3.5% to 4.2% on the surface. Pairs Well With Stainless Steel Quick Connect Socket Surfactant Variety Pack Remco 12V Soft Wash Pump Frequently Asked Questions How is the X-Jet M5 different from a downstream injector? A downstream injector mounts at the pump's low-pressure side. The X-Jet draws at the nozzle tip instead, so chemical never touches your pump, unloader, or high-pressure hose. It pulls strong ratios even on long hose runs where a pump-mounted injector's venturi stalls. Close the ball valve and you're rinsing. Which X-Jet M5 orifice do I need for my GPM? Match the orifice to your machine: 09K for 3 to 3.5 GPM, 13K for 4 to 4.5, 16K for 5 to 6.5, 20K for 7 to 8, and 25K for 8+ GPM. An orifice too large for your flow stops chemical draw. Pick your GPM at checkout. Do I have to rinse the X-Jet after use? Yes. It has brass in the wetted path, and sodium hypochlorite corrodes brass. Rinse the nozzle and the suction hose with fresh water after every use. The 90-day warranty specifically excludes corrosion caused by not rinsing.
