The X-Rack's aluminum construction can accommodate spares from the OEM wheel to those sporting a lifted rig. Supporting a maximum diameter (tire) size of 38”, the X-Rack can accomm odate nearly any size after-market tire & wheel. If you have questions or a larger size tire, call us! Our Engineering department will make sure the X-Rack can accommodate your spare. Jerk Engineered is the fusion of engineering and innovative design (patent pending) creating a system that does NOT piggy-back directly off of the van hinge. As such there is no longer the need to be limited to 180-degree hinges. The X-Rack tire carrier mounts securely to the innovative structural hinge brackets and only requires the drilling of a small (7/16” / 11mm) mounting hole in the door, and a slightly larger (11/16” / 17mm) hole hidden behind the interior trim panel. Included are both exterior and interior reinforcement plates to ensure the X-Rack is integrated with your van properly. The X-Rack, as with all JERK Engineered line of rear mounted systems, is engineered to serve you on the toughest terrain and harshest places you may travel.
