The decomposition of any remaining organic matter has to be carried out through bacteria. Xepta Reef Bac is a concentrated, complete and balanced mix of different bacterial strains composed of Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira, Nitrobacter and Psudomona. It establishes a bacterial colony in aquariums creating or maintaining the biological filter, which reduces and degrades naturally nitrates and phosphates in the water.
