These are fiberglass sections that slide on the outside of your waterfed pole to make them less conduc tive and safer than carbon fiber. Each section measures approximately 70.5 inches long. These can be used as an extra section (e.g., add the #10 InsuPole section to a 9-section pole) or as a replacement section (e.g., swap the #9 section with the InsuPole #9 section).
