New for 2018, the MotorGuide Xi3 70 Saltwater is an exciting response to the Minn Kota PowerDrive series. The Xi3 SW offers basic and advanced wireless features in an affordable package. Second, the Xi3 features the new SecureStep stow and deploy, which claims to be 50% easier to use than the PowerDrive. Third and finally, the Xi3 is the quietest electric steer motor in its class. These are really great motors, offered with a standard remote for speed and steering, or the more advanced Pinpoint GPS remotes that feature anchor locking and route-recording. How It's Unique The Xi3 series is the affordable younger brother to the Xi5 series. The Xi3 comes wireless out-of-the-box and can be ordered with PinPoint GPS. (Learn about these features) Available Upgrades: PinPoint GPS Split Mounting Details: This motor is bolted directly to the bow of the boat using the included mounting hardware, and requires drilling into the boat for installation. Ideally, it's best to have access to the underside of the mounting platform in order to secure and fasten the bolting hardware.
